Tickets
The complete ticket system with categories, questions, panels, ratings, AI support and transcripts.
In the panel under: Support, Tickets
The biggest module in AlphaCloud. Members open a ticket through a panel, optionally answer questions while doing so, and get a private channel with your support team. When the ticket is closed, a permanent transcript is created.

Tickets as a forum post
Instead of creating a separate channel for every ticket, a category can open its tickets as posts in a forum. This keeps the channel list short, and all tickets sit neatly in one place.
Create a forum
Create a forum channel in Discord, for example "tickets".
Switch the category
In the category, set Open tickets as to Forum post and select the forum.
Save the category
| Step | What happens in the forum |
|---|---|
| Open a ticket | A new post, and the welcome message is the post itself. If the forum requires a tag, the bot sets the first available one |
| Close | The post is locked, only members with "Manage Threads" can still write |
| Reopen | The post is unlocked |
| Delete, transcript, claim, rename, AI support | Same as with an own channel |
Tickets as a private thread
Every ticket becomes a private thread in a text channel, just like with many other ticket bots. The channel list stays short, and unlike a forum post, a private thread is really private: only the creator, the team and those who can "Manage Threads" in that channel can see it.
Choose the channel
Either the channel your panel is in or a separate text channel. Announcement channels cannot have private threads.
Switch the category
In the category, set Open tickets as to Private thread and optionally choose the Channel for the threads.
Set up team roles
Give your support roles the Manage Threads permission in this channel. Then they see every ticket without being added one by one.
Save the category
| Step | What happens in the private thread |
|---|---|
| Open a ticket | A new private thread, the creator is added and the welcome message is pinned. Only the bot and the team can add more people |
| Team | Roles with "Manage Threads" see every ticket. From all other support roles, the bot adds up to 25 members individually |
| Close | The thread is locked, only members with "Manage Threads" can still write |
| Reopen | The thread is unlocked and the creator is added again |
/ticket add and /ticket remove |
Really grant or remove access. For a role, this affects its members, and the creator always stays in |
/ticket transfer |
The team of the new category is added |
| Delete, transcript, claim, rename, AI support | Same as with an own channel |
Questions
For each category you can define a small form that appears when a ticket is opened.
| Field | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Label | The question itself |
| Placeholder | Example text in the input field |
| Required | Whether the question has to be answered |
| Type | Text (Short) for one line, Text (Paragraph) for more |
AI Ticket System
| Setting | Meaning |
|---|---|
| AI Greeting | The message the AI introduces itself with when the ticket opens |
| System Prompt | Your instructions to the AI. Leave empty for the default |
| Disable AI when team member writes | As soon as a team member writes, the AI switches off |
You choose which AI backend is used under Setup.
The 22 customizable messages
Tickets has more customizable messages than any other module. They all live in one shared editor, grouped by phase and searchable.
Main messages
| Message | When it appears |
|---|---|
| Panel design | The message with the category menu |
| Welcome message design | When a ticket is opened, separate per category |
| Close message (channel) | In the ticket channel when closing |
| Close message (DM) | As a DM to the creator when closing |
| Reopen message | In the channel when reopening |
The 19 lifecycle notices
| Group | Messages |
|---|---|
| Close | Close confirmation, Close request (DM to the creator), Close request (in the ticket) |
| Auto close | Activated, Warning (DM), Cancelled, Timer reset, Closed automatically |
| Rating | Rating request (DM), Rating posted in the rating channel |
| Team actions | Ticket claimed, Ticket released, Ticket renamed, Ticket transferred, New reply (DM to the creator) |
| AI support | AI support switched off, AI handed over to the team |
| Blacklist | Ticket ban (DM), Ticket ban lifted (DM) |
Variables
{user}, {actor}, {closedBy}, {reopenedBy}, {category}, {channel}, {reason}, {messageUrl}, {closeAt}, {newName}, {rating}, {feedback}, {answers}, {guild}, {memberCount}.
In the welcome message there are also {responseTime} (the usual response time as above, empty when there is too little data) and {answers.1} to {answers.5}: each one only the answer to a single question, in the order of the questions of the category. This way you can place the answers individually in their own fields instead of listing them all together with {answers}.
The editor itself shows you which of them are available in which message.
