Permissions
Give individual people access to the panel without extending their Discord permissions.
In the panel under: Admin, Permissions
By default, anyone who has Manage Server on the Discord server can get into the panel. That's often too much: your ticket team should set up tickets, but not fiddle with Anti-Nuke or Server Backup.
Permissions solves this. You give a person access to specific modules without giving them any extra permission in Discord.
Add someone
Choose a person
Pick a member from the list or enter their Discord ID directly.
Check the modules
Check the areas this person is allowed to see and edit.
Save
From now on the person can log in to the panel and sees exactly these modules, nothing else.
Basic Access
The Basic Access entry is the entry ticket. Without it, the person can't even get into the server area, even if individual modules are checked. Always set it too.
The areas you can grant
You can grant practically every module individually, plus Setup, Branding and Analytics. A few useful bundles:
| Role on the team | Useful grants |
|---|---|
| Ticket team | Basic Access, Tickets, Support Notify, Support Hours |
| Community team | Basic Access, Giveaways, Suggestions, Polls, Starboard, Birthday |
| Moderation lead | Basic Access, Moderation, AutoMod, Logging, Verification |
| Team lead | Basic Access, Team List, Team Updates, Absences, Activity Check |
Change and remove
Use the edit button next to an entry to change the grants later. If you remove an entry, the person immediately loses all panel access to this server. Other servers aren't affected.
What doesn't work
- You can't add yourself.
- Permissions don't replace Discord permissions. Being allowed to set up tickets in the panel doesn't mean someone can manage channels in Discord.
- The server owner and anyone with Manage Server always get into the panel, regardless of this list.
Tracing who changed what
Every change in the panel ends up in the Audit Log, including the person who made it.
