Enable modules
Enable, configure and reset modules, and grant access to them selectively.
A module is a self-contained feature area, for example Tickets, Level System or AutoMod. AlphaCloud has 69 of them. Every single one starts out off and does nothing until you turn it on.
Set up a module
Open the module in the sidebar
Look for it in the matching category or use the search in the header.
Flip the switch at the top
This makes the module active in principle. But it usually still needs some required settings.
Fill in the required fields
Almost every module needs at least one channel or role. Without them nothing happens, even if the switch is on.
Save
Click Save at the bottom. Only then does the bot know about it.
Test in Discord
Trigger whatever the module is supposed to react to. If nothing happens, take a look at the bot's permissions.
The overview under Menu
The Menu page at the very top of the sidebar shows you at a glance how many modules are active, and lets you turn modules on and off right there without opening each page. It also shows key figures for your server and an activity chart for the last 90 days.
Turning off doesn't mean deleting
The switch stops the bot but keeps everything you've set up. For a real fresh start, there is the reset under Setup with three levels:
| Level | Effect |
|---|---|
| Reset module only | Settings go back to factory defaults, collected data stays |
| Reset data only | Collected data is deleted, your settings stay |
| Reset module and data | Both gone, back to day one |
Why a module sometimes doesn't show up
- It's a partner module. Only a partner server sees Partner Statistics.
- It's in beta. AI Server Builder and Game Integrations are marked as beta. They work, but they may still change.
- It was switched off centrally. Very rarely we switch a module off temporarily, for example after a serious bug. The page then says "Module disabled".
- You don't have access. If you were let in through Permissions, you only see the modules you've been given access to.
Premium limits
Some modules let you create a certain amount without Premium, for example three custom commands instead of fifty. The panel shows these limits right where they apply. The full comparison is under Free and Premium.
