Level System

XP for chatting and for voice chat, with level announcements and role rewards.

In the panel under: Community, Level System

Members collect experience points, level up and get roles for it automatically. A proven way to make active people visible and reward activity.

The two XP sources

Setting Meaning
Text XP XP for writing messages, with a short cooldown against spam
Voice XP XP for time spent in a voice channel

Both are independent of each other. You can also use just one of them.

Level-Up Announcement

Option Effect
In the channel where the message was sent The announcement appears where people are talking right now
In a dedicated channel All announcements come together in one channel

With the second option you pick the Announcement Channel.

Exceptions

Setting Meaning
Excluded Channels No XP there ever, neither for messages nor for voice time
Excluded Roles Members with one of these roles never get XP

Typically excluded: spam channels, bot channels, counting channels.
