Sticky Roles
Remember roles when someone leaves and give them back automatically when they rejoin.
In the panel under: Moderation, Sticky Roles
If someone leaves your server, the bot remembers their roles. If they come back, they get them back automatically.
This is convenient for regular members and important for moderation: without Sticky Roles, leaving and rejoining is the easiest way to get rid of a penalty role.
The two modes
All roles are saved and restored, except the roles you exclude.
The safe default for most servers. Exclude temporary or manually given roles here, for example event roles.
Only the roles you add are saved and restored. Everything else is dropped.
Useful when you only care about a handful of roles, such as a mute role or a team application ban.
Settings
| Setting | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Mode | Exclude or Include |
| Excluded Roles | In Exclude mode: these aren't restored |
| Included Roles | In Include mode: only these are restored |
| Log Channel | Optional, logs every restore |
Working with Auto-Role
Both run when someone joins. Auto-Role gives every newcomer its roles, and Sticky Roles also gives a returning member their old ones back.
