Reminders
Members set a reminder with /remind, and the bot gets back to them.
In the panel under: Community, Reminders
Members set a reminder with /remind. When it is due, the bot posts in the channel where it was set. If that does not work, it sends a DM instead.
Setup
The module has almost nothing to configure: switch it on, save, done. After that, /remind is ready on your server.
The command
/remind with two inputs:
| Option | Meaning |
|---|---|
duration |
When to remind, for example 2h or 3d |
message |
What to remind about |
Free and Premium
| Free | Premium | |
|---|---|---|
| Active reminders per member | 3 | 10 |
| Maximum in advance | 7 days | 90 days |
The values that currently apply are shown right on the module page.
A restart never loses a reminder
Reminders are stored in the database, not just in memory. If a reminder falls into downtime, it is caught up as soon as the bot is running again instead of getting lost.
Custom design
You design the reminder message in the Message Builder.
Variables: {user}, {message}, {createdAt}, {guild}, {memberCount}.
Required permissions
Send Messages and Embed Links in the channels where reminders are set.
