AlphaCloud v1.10.2: Voice Roles, Ask Alfi and Our Own Docs in 21 Languages

By our versioning scheme, v1.10.2 is a hotfix again. It still brings a new module, an assistant that helps you set things up in the panel, and documentation of our own. On top come smaller features for a dozen modules and a long list of bugs that are now gone.

Voice Roles: roles while someone is in voice

The new module came from two suggestions on the ideas board. Voice Roles gives members roles while they sit in a voice channel and takes them away again once they leave. There are three kinds you can combine: one role for any voice channel, roles of their own per channel or whole category, and roles for camera, stream or both. With it you can, for example, unlock a text channel only for people in voice, or show in the member list who is live right now.

Single voice channels and whole categories can be excluded from the role for any voice channel, for example the AFK channel or temporary channels. That role and the camera and stream roles are free, rules per channel or category come with 3 without Premium and 25 with it. After a restart the bot checks every role against the current state. Ask Alfi: help with the setup, right in the panel

Every server page in the panel now has Alfi in the bottom right corner. Click him and a chat opens where you can ask whatever you want: how a module works, why your ticket panel does not show up, how to greet new members automatically.

Alfi does more than explain. He looks at your server's settings and suggests changes as a card in the chat: settings of almost every module, your own message designs with a live preview, ticket categories and panels, level rewards and Embed Creator embeds, which he can also post for you. Nothing changes until you click Apply on the card. Your browser then saves the change with your own login, through the same routes as the form and with the same checks. Alfi himself cannot save anything.

Alfi is Claude by Anthropic, an AI. Every chat says so at the top, and answers can contain mistakes. Alfi answers in the language you write in. Without Premium a server has 20 messages a day, with Premium 150. The conversation stays in your browser tab only and is gone when you close it. Our own docs, in 21 languages

Our documentation used to live on GitBook and was German only. It now runs on alphacloud.bot/docs, in the same design as the website and the panel, and all 83 pages are available in all 21 languages. Press Ctrl+K to search; the search runs entirely in your browser.

If you would rather ask than search, Alfi sits in the bottom right corner here too and answers questions from the docs, with links to the matching pages. A Discord login is all it takes, and reading works without signing in. Old docs.alphacloud.bot links redirect to the new address automatically, so bookmarks and links in Discord keep working.

Premium as prepaid and right in Discord

Prepaid. On the Premium page you can now buy Premium without a subscription: 1 to 36 months with a single payment, and nothing renews afterwards. If the server currently has free Premium, for example from Login Coins, the months you buy are added on top. Discount codes and sales now apply to prepaid too.

Premium Shop in Discord. On our Discord server you can buy Premium right in the channel, as a subscription, Lifetime or prepaid. The bot shows you the product, the term and the final price, then you pay through a QR code or a link, just like in the panel.

Smaller new features

• Changelog: /changelog edit corrects one of the last three posts, and posts can get their own design in the Message Builder. Publishing is now /changelog publish
• Birthday: a role can be required to save a birthday. Members who lose it are removed automatically
• Role DM: every role can have its own DM cooldown, from 6 hours to 30 days, and within one rule even per member role, for example new members every 6 hours and regulars every 12
• Logging: every moderation action (ban, unban, kick, timeout, warning, mute, unmute) can have its own log channel
• AFK Room: voice channels and whole categories can be excluded, a fallback channel takes members back when their old channel is gone, and if you like, members get a message after being moved back, as a DM or in the voice channel's text chat
• AutoMod: roles that may post links, and allowed domains that always pass the link filter, also with "Block all links". Scam detection also catches fake Discord and Steam links (like "dlscord" or "steamcommunlty"), fake Nitro and skin gifts, fake ban warnings and the usual "DM me for insider info" messages
• Team List: the server's booster role can now be shown in a team list

Fixed

• Temp Voice: a locked or hidden channel can be opened again and is deleted once it is empty, also when the bot is not an administrator. Channels that emptied during a restart are now cleaned up reliably, and missing permissions show a clear hint instead of an error
• Counting: the count no longer starts over after a restart or update, it continues where it stopped
• Logging: kicks are logged even without a member log channel, and /ban, /unban and /kick no longer post twice
• Panel: server pages keep working while Discord briefly limits your account, the "unable to verify guild access" errors are gone, and the server list and server pages load faster
• Tickets: a full ticket category (Discord allows 50 channels per category) shows a clear hint instead of an error code
• Premium: checkout works again when the panel is set to a language other than German or English
• Anti Nuke: deleted announcement channels are restored as text channels when the server is no longer a Community server, instead of not at all
• Birthday: a message written with {user}, as the hint in the panel says, can now be saved and mentions the member
• Plus smaller fixes for the Level System, Nick Prefix, Embed Creator, Team Feedback, To-Do, Activity Check, Starboard and the bot avatar
